Free Spotify playlist promotion, on one song

Submit one track and we pitch it to a genre-matched set of real playlist curators in our network. No card, no subscription, and no obligation to buy anything afterwards. It exists so you can judge our process on evidence instead of marketing copy.

Got it — your song is in the queue

We will review the track, match it against curators in your genre, and email you within 3 business days.

Nothing else to do right now. While you wait, the release checklist is the best use of ten minutes.

What you actually get

The free tier is a genuine sample of the paid process at smaller scale, not a lead magnet with nothing behind it. Concretely:

  • A real genre match. We listen to the track and identify the curators and playlist types in our network that fit it, using the reference artists you give us.
  • An actual pitch. Your track goes out to that matched set the same way a paid campaign does — same network, same people, smaller list.
  • An honest report by email. What was pitched, what came back, and where the track sat against the playlists we tried. Including when the answer is that it did not land.
  • No upsell pressure. If the response is weak, we will say so and tell you why rather than pushing you into a paid campaign that will not work either.

What it does not include

Being straight about the limits is the whole point of offering it:

  • Placements are not guaranteed. Curators decide for themselves. Anyone guaranteeing free placements is either not pitching real curators or not being honest about what they are delivering.
  • It is a small set, not the full network. Paid campaigns are pitched to considerably more curators over a much longer window.
  • Free sits behind paid in the queue. Turnaround is a few days rather than same-day.
  • One track per artist. So we can run it for as many people as possible.
  • No dedicated manager or live reporting. You get one summary email at the end.

How it works, step by step

  1. You submit the form aboveTrack link, genre, and two reference artists. Takes about a minute. We do not ask for payment details or account access at any point.
  2. We listen and matchWithin 3 business days we review the track and identify which curators and playlist types in our network actually fit it. If the track is not ready, we will tell you that instead of pitching it.
  3. We pitchYour track goes out to the matched set over roughly two weeks, the same way a paid campaign runs.
  4. You get an honest reportOne email covering what was pitched, what responded, and what the result suggests about the track. No pressure to upgrade.

Why we give this away

Because the playlist promotion market has an honesty problem, and it costs us customers. Artists have been sold guaranteed stream counts that turned out to be bot traffic, charged for placements they could not verify, and told that editorial playlists like New Music Friday were purchasable when they never have been. By the time they reach us, a lot of them reasonably assume every service is the same.

Marketing copy cannot fix that, because scams have better copy than we do. The only thing that resolves it is letting you watch the process work on your own song at no cost. Some people will take the free pitch and never buy anything, which is fine. Enough of the rest will see the difference between real curator outreach and an automated stream package.

It is also, frankly, a better filter for us. Tracks that respond well to a small pitch are the ones worth running a full campaign on. Tracks that do not are ones we would rather tell you about before you spend $149 than after.

Before you submit, make sure the track is ready

The single biggest reason a pitch fails is not reach, it is that the record is not competitive yet. Curators decide within about fifteen seconds, and no amount of outreach fixes a mix that loses people at the intro. Worth checking:

  • The mix holds up on phone speakers and the vocal sits clearly above the instrumental.
  • The first fifteen seconds earn attention. Long instrumental intros lose curators and listeners alike.
  • Artwork reads at thumbnail size, which is how nearly everyone will encounter it.
  • The track is already live on Spotify or Apple Music with a public link.
  • Your artist profile is not empty. Curators check. A current photo and a real bio matter more than artists expect.

If any of those are shaky, fix them first. It costs nothing and it changes the outcome more than any campaign will. Our release checklist covers the full pre-release sequence, and the curator pitch template shows exactly what we send on your behalf.

Frequently asked questions

Is free Spotify playlist promotion actually free?

Yes. The free trial covers one track per artist, with no card required and no subscription. It exists so you can see how our pitching process works before deciding whether a paid campaign is worth it. You are never enrolled in anything automatically.

What is the catch with a free playlist submission?

The honest trade-off is scale and priority. Free submissions are pitched to a small genre-matched set rather than our full network, they run after paid campaigns in the queue, and placements are not guaranteed. It is a real sample of the process, not a full campaign.

Can you guarantee placements on the free tier?

No, and we would not trust anyone who did. Curators make their own decisions. What we guarantee is that your track is genuinely pitched to relevant curators and that you get an honest answer about how it was received, including if the response was poor.

Do I need to give you my Spotify password?

Never. No legitimate promotion service needs access to your Spotify, Apple Music or distributor account. We only need a public track link. If any service asks for your login, that is the point to walk away.

How long does the free trial take?

We review and match within 3 business days, then pitching runs over roughly two weeks. You get an email at the end with what happened, including which kinds of playlists responded and which did not.

Can I submit more than one song?

The free trial is one track per artist so we can offer it to as many artists as possible. If you want multiple tracks pitched, or the full network rather than a sample, that is what the paid campaigns cover.

Ready when you are

One song, one form, no card. If it works, the paid campaigns are there. If it does not, you will at least know why.
